Occupants shelled Kharkiv

On the morning of October 6, Russian terrorists shelled Ukrainian Kharkiv. Several districts in the central part of the city were hit, a child was killed and many people were injured.

This was reported by local authorities. According to the prosecutor's office, the enemy attacked Kharkiv twice in the morning. The type of missiles is being established (to see photos and videos, scroll down to the end of the news story).

"The city of Kharkiv is under fire. There is information about a strike on the central part," Mayor Ihor Terekhov wrote on his Telegram channel at 06:46.

The information was repeated by the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Syniehubov. He noted that Russian occupants continue to strike the regional center.

"Residents of Kharkiv and the region, stay in shelters!" the official urged.

Later, he confirmed the enemy hits in Kyivskyi and Osnovianskyi districts of Kharkiv. Three residents were wounded there: their condition is assessed as light.

"Emergency services are working on the spot, cars and buildings are damaged. The information is being clarified. Stay in shelters until the air raid alert is over!" the head of the RMA emphasized.

Ihor Terekhov emphasized that the enemy's strikes were aimed exclusively at the civilian infrastructure of Kharkiv, including a residential building.

"There is unconfirmed information that there may be a child under the rubble. Rescuers are trying to dismantle it as soon as possible. The others are all lightly injured, cut by glass," he wrote.

As of 08:00 on Friday, as a result of two morning attacks on Kharkiv by the occupiers, nine civilians sought emergency medical care, including an 11-month-old child.

The rescuers were eliminating the aftermath of the shelling, extinguishing vehicle fires and clearing the rubble of buildings.

Unfortunately, a child was found dead under the rubble of a residential building. The victim was a 10-year-old boy.

Regional prosecutor's office spokesman Dmytro Chubenko said that the enemy probably hit Kharkiv with a cruise or ballistic missile.

As of 09:00, 16 people were preliminarily injured, including an 11-month-old child, who suffered small wounds from glass and bruises. Two people were rescued by the State Emergency Service.

Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko noted that two apartment buildings were damaged and a three-story residential building was destroyed in the city. The impact caused a fire of 50 square meters. Rescuers eliminated the fire.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, on the afternoon of October 5, terrorists of the Russian Armed Forces hit a cafe shop in the village of Hroza, Kupiansk district, Kharkiv region, with an Iskander missile. A fellow villager was farewelled there, so there were many people inside.

The Russian war crime killed 51 people, including a minor child. Entire families became victims of the occupiers.
