Occupants staged a massive attack on Odesa region: an infrastructure facility was damaged and a fire broke out

Russian troops attacked Odesa region with Shahed drones

On the night of Monday, March 11, Russian occupation forces attacked Odesa region with Shahed-type attack drones. They hit an infrastructure facility, where a fire broke out - no people were injured.

This was reported by the Southern Defense Forces. The defenders of the sky managed to shoot down 10 enemy kamikaze drones over the region, and the Ukrainian Navy showed the destruction of one of them on video.

The military emphasized that this time the enemy postponed the massive drone attack until the second half of the night. The air defense forces' combat work lasted an hour and a half.

Air defense units repelled heavy waves of Shaheds coming in from the Black Sea and complicated maneuvers between residential and industrial areas, which made the defenders' work difficult.

Some of the UAV strikes resulted in hits in Odesa district. An infrastructure facility was hit there, damaging administrative buildings. A fire broke out at the site of the attack, which rescuers quickly extinguished.

The shock wave smashed out the windows of private houses around the area, and debris damaged outbuildings. According to preliminary reports, no one was injured.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of March 10, the defenders of the sky shot down 11 Shaheds in Odesa region. However, hits could not be avoided: enemy kamikaze drones struck an industrial facility in Odesa district, causing damage to the building and a fire.
