Occupants hit Kharkiv with three anti-aircraft missiles: there are hits and wounded
An explosion occurred in Kharkiv around 17:35 on Monday, June 10. Russian troops struck the city with three KABs, and there was a hit on the outskirts in the area of residential buildings. Six people were injured in the shelling.
The attack was reported by the head of the RMA Oleh Syniehubov and Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov. "At 17:35, the occupiers attacked Kharkiv. They used anti-aircraft missiles beforehand," said the head of the Kharkiv region.
He added that, according to preliminary data, a fire broke out in the building.
As of 18:02, Terekhov informed that there were three strikes with KABs in Kharkiv.
"One of the hits was on a garage cooperative, a fire broke out there and there is information about at least two wounded. The sites of the other hits are being examined by specialists," the mayor said in a statement.
At 18:13, the head of the RMA clarified that six people were injured in the strike in Kharkiv. At various addresses, there is damage to residential buildings, garages, and cars.
At least two private houses were heavily damaged at the site of another hit in the Kyiv district. There may be people under the rubble. All relevant services are working at the scene, the mayor said as of 18:14.
At 18:39, Syniehubov said that rescuers were unblocking another victim from the rubble. The 75-year-old man has been contacted.
Local media reported the explosions in Kharkiv at 17:34. The Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has previously warned of Russian tactical aviation activity in the southeast and the launch of anti-aircraft missiles in the Kharkiv region.
At 17:13, monitoring channels reported on the launch of the KABs in the direction of Kharkiv.
