The Russian terrorist army continues shelling border settlements in the Sumy region. A brigade of power engineers in the town of Seredyna Buda came under another enemy fire.

Russian troops carried out the shelling at about 10:30 on September 2. The invaders fired mortars at the town of Seredyna Buda in the Shostka district from the territory of the Russian Federation.

The shells hit the service vehicle of the Shostka district power grid branch of Sumyoblenergo JSC. As a result of the shelling, two employees were injured. A power line, two institutions and a local enterprise were also damaged.

A pre-trial investigation on the fact of violation of the laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) was launched under the procedural guidance of the Shostka District Prosecutor's Office. Prosecutors in cooperation with other law enforcement officers record the consequences of shelling. In the future, the materials of the criminal proceedings will be transferred to the Regional Department of SSU in the Sumy region.
