On the morning of January 22, the Russian terrorist army shelled Kostiantynivka, Donetsk region. The enemy attacked the settlement with artillery and aviation. One person was killed and seven were wounded.
Facades of apartment and private houses, garages, outbuildings, cars, administrative buildings, power lines, and a gas pipeline were damaged in the settlement. This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

According to the head of the RMA Vadym Filashkin, two residents of Kostiantynivka, a 74-year-old man and a 59-year-old woman, were wounded in the morning. The town continued to be under artillery and aviation fire.

In addition, Putin's army damaged at least five private houses and cars with shelling. Also, according to preliminary information, a house and a garage in Mykolaivka of the Kostiantynivka community were damaged.
The regional administration called on local residents not to put themselves at risk and evacuate to safe areas.

The prosecutor's office clarified: On January 22, 2025, the occupiers launched an artillery strike on Kostiantynivka. A 59-year-old woman and a 74-year-old man sustained mine-blast injuries and shrapnel wounds. They were in their homes. The victim was taken to hospital in serious condition.
After a while, Russian proxies repeated the attack. Within 15 minutes, the enemy launched nine air strikes on the city. Previously, the aggressor state's troops used FAB-250 with the UMPK module.
The shelling killed a 58-year-old citizen. Five residents aged 52, 62, 64, 76, and 91 were also injured.
The latter were diagnosed with mine-blast and closed craniocerebral injuries, concussion, torso, and limb wounds.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kostiantynivka District Prosecutor's Office, pre-trial investigations in criminal proceedings on war crimes (Part 1 and Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) have been initiated.

As a reminder, on January 21, the aggressor country Russia attacked Dnipro and the region, allegedly using ballistic missiles. The railway infrastructure was hit, and three employees of Ukrzaliznytsia were injured.
As OBOZ.UA reported, on the night of January 22, Russian invaders attacked Mykolaiv with kamikaze drones. As a result of the attack, an apartment building was destroyed, a fire broke out there, and there are consequences in the private sector, as well as enterprises and public transport.
