Air Defense Forces destroyed Russian Air targets

On the night of July 2, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with eight Iranian Shahed-type attack drones. The invaders also launched three Kalibr cruise missiles.

All 11 air targets were shot down by air defense forces. This was reported in the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"On the night of July 2, 2023, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with Iranian kamikaze drones of the "Shahed" type and three cruise missiles "Kalibr". The drones were launched from the south-eastern direction and the missiles from the Black Sea," the AFU said.

Enemy drones and missiles detected in different regions of our country, so air defense worked in the south, east and center of Ukraine. All targets are down.

"The Air Force air defense worked in different regions of Ukraine, including the areas of responsibility of the air commands "South", "East" and "Center". All air targets destroyed!," noted the defenders of the Ukrainian sky.

As a reminder, overnight the Russian Federation launched a new attack with "Shahed" drones and missiles: air defense systems worked in Kyiv and the regions. It was loud, in particular, in the Mykolaiv and Zaporizhzhia regions: the occupants attacked the last one and its surrounding areas with S-300s.

It was also reported that the occupiers attacked Kyiv with drones at night: air defense forces destroyed enemy targets.
