Russian occupation forces continue to focus their main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions. Over 35 clashes took place in Donetsk region over the last day.

The occupants failed in their assault near Bakhmut. This is stated in the evening report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 20 June 2023.

The situation has not changed in the Volyn and Polissia sectors, and there are no signs of offensive groups forming.

On the Siverskyi and Slobozhanskyi directions, the enemy maintains a military presence in the areas bordering Ukraine. The occupiers carried out air strikes on Yanzhulivka and Leonivka in Chernihiv region. They also fired mortar and artillery shells at the settlements of Halahanivka, Karpovychi in Chernihiv region; Kindrativka, Brusky, Basivka, Loknya, Yunakivka, Bachivsk, Stepove in Sumy region; and Ivashky, Rozhkovychi, Guryev Kozachok, Udy, Maryine, Vysoka Yaruga, Morozovets, Ternova, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Budarky, Ustynivka, Ambarne, and Hryhorivka in Kharkiv region.

In the Kupyansk sector, the enemy shelled Figolovka, Dvorichne, Zakhidne, Kyslivka and Berestova in Kharkiv region with artillery and mortar fire.

In the Lyman sector, the invaders tried to conduct offensive actions in the direction of Kreminna-Yampolivka. The enemy shelled Stelmakhivka, Nevske, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Torske, Serebryanka, Verkhnekamyane, Spirne and Rozdolivka in Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut sector, the occupants are conducting unsuccessful offensives in the direction of Orikhove-Vasylivka in the Donetsk region. Vasyukivka, Orikhove-Vasylivka, Bohdanivka, Kalynivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka, Bila Hora, Kostyantynivka, Druzhba and Siversne in the Donetsk region suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

In the Avdiivka sector, the invaders carried out air strikes in the areas of Avdiivka and Siversne, and conducted unsuccessful offensives near Avdiivka. The occupants also fired artillery at Avdiivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske in the Donetsk region.

In the Maryinka sector, the area around Maryinka came under an enemy air strike. At the same time, the enemy shelled Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Maryinka and Peremoha in Donetsk region with artillery.

In the Shakhtarsk sector, the occupiers conducted offensive actions in the direction of Novomykhailivka, but were unsuccessful. At the same time, the invaders fired on the settlements of Ostro, Paraskoviivka and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy continues to conduct defensive actions. The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Storozheve, Prechistivka, Zolota Niva, Blahodatne and Makarivka in Donetsk region and the city of Zaporizhzhia. They shelled Blahodatne, Neskuchne, Makarivka, Storozheve, Cheremkhivka, Zelene Pole, Novopillia in Donetsk region; Novodarivka, Levadne, Chervone, Gulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Stepove, Pyatikhatky, Lobkove, Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region with artillery; Zolota Balka, Mykhaylivka, Novooleksandrivka, Dudchany, Kachkarivka, Dorozhne, Kozatske, Mykolaivka, Burgunka, Ivanivka, Sadove, Prydniprovske, Prydniprovske, Molodizhne, Zymivnyk, Bilozerka, Romashkove, Kherson, Dniprovske, Kyzomys, Kherson region, Nikopol, Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, Russian invaders have set up additional checkpoints and filtration points in settlements on the temporarily occupied territory of Zaporizhzhia region. Civilians leaving the territory are forced to pass through filtration points located in Mangush and Novoazovsk in Donetsk region. The occupiers thoroughly check citizens' belongings and documents, and take their fingerprints.

In addition, the aviation of the defence forces carried out 8 strikes on the areas of concentration of enemy personnel and 2 on their anti-aircraft missile systems over the day. Ukrainian defenders also destroyed 3 reconnaissance UAVs.

Missile and artillery units struck 3 command posts, 1 area of concentration of enemy personnel and military equipment, 3 electronic warfare stations, 17 artillery units at firing positions, 1 air defence facility and 1 other important occupant object over the course of the day.

- According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on 19 June, the defenders of Ukraine neutralised 1,010 Russian servicemen at the front. The soldiers also destroyed 103 pieces of equipment and weapons of the Russian Armed Forces, including 13 air targets in the sky;

- the soldiers of the 47th Magura Brigade showed spectacular footage of their powerful work on the occupiers' positions. The footage shows the process of destroying the military equipment of the Russian occupiers.
