The explosions at the oil refinery in Tuapse (Krasnodar Territory of the Russian Federation) were an operation by the Security Service of Ukraine. The attack damaged the primary oil processing units.

The attack UAVs targeted the vacuum and atmospheric columns, as reported to OBOZ.UA by its own sources.

The oil refinery in Tuapse was attacked on the night of January 25. After two powerful explosions, a large-scale fire broke out at the enterprise, damaging at least two installations at the plant.

"The Security Service of Ukraine is conducting deep strikes into Russia and continues to target facilities that are not only crucial for the Russian economy but also provide fuel for enemy troops. There will be many surprises ahead as the systematic work continues," the source stated.

Simultaneously, the Russian Federation acknowledged that the Rosneft oil refinery in Tuapse, damaged by the drone, contained 112 tons of gasoline and 200 tons of fuel oil. The occupiers also admitted that the refinery was attacked by three drones.

According to the propagandists' narrative, two UAVs were allegedly shot down and fell into the sea, while the third drone fell on the refinery's territory, causing damage. Russia also claimed that the fire was extinguished only in the morning of January 25.

As a reminder, on January 24, a series of explosions occurred in the Russian city of Tuapse in the Krasnodar Territory. Subsequently, a massive fire broke out at a local oil refinery, which is part of the Rosneft oil company.

Earlier, it was reported that the attack on the marine terminal in Ust-Luga, Leningrad region, was carried out as part of a special operation by the Security Service of Ukraine. The damage to the oil terminal, which supplied fuel, including to the Russian army, will complicate its logistics for the invaders.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, on the night of January 24, a drone attack took place in Orel, Russia. Several houses in the Northern and Zaliznychny districts of the city were damaged as a result of the attack.
