Consequences of the attack on the Kyiv region

Russia launched a combined attack on Ukraine on August 30. The invaders attacked the Kyiv region with kamikaze drones and missiles, Air Defense Forces were working.

Private houses, a two-story non-residential building and a cemetery were damaged in several settlements. This was reported by the head of the police of the Kyiv region Andriy Nebytov.

"The consequences of the night attack of the occupiers are being recorded by the police officers of the Kyiv region. Private houses were damaged as a result of debris fall. Fortunately, without casualties. The debris was also found on the territory of the local cemetery, where there was a fire, which was promptly extinguished by employees of the State Emergency Service," Nebytov said.

He also reported that a two-story building was damaged as a result of a kamikaze drone attack in another locality in the region. A fire broke out there. The watchman did not ignore the alert notification and made his way to the shelter, which saved his life.

"Once again I urge citizens not to ignore the signals of the air alarm and head to the bomb shelters in time as your health and life depend on it," Nebytov wrote.

According to the head of the police of Kyiv region, more than six residential houses were damaged and there were wounded civilians.

"More than 6 private houses are damaged as a result of falling debris of missiles and drones in one more of the districts of the Kyiv region. A 69-year-old woman received burns. 43-year-old and 49-year-old men in one of the houses had minor cuts. Garage buildings and two cars were also destroyed." Nebytov said.

He added that private houses were also damaged in another of the districts of Kyiv region. The roofing and windows were damaged. There was also a fire in the grass deck, which the rescuers managed to extinguish quickly.

"Emergency services are working at the sites. Police officers are inspecting and recording the consequences of the night enemy strike. I thank our air defense forces for the effective destruction of deadly weapons of the Russian Federation," Nebytov noted.

Law enforcers are working at the wreckage sites.

According to the Main Department of the State Emergency Situations Service, there were fires, destruction of residential houses and burning of grass decking as a result of massive enemy attack and air defense work in the Fastivskyi and Buchanskyi districts of the Kyiv region on the night of August 30.

"A total of 35 personnel of the State Emergency Situations Service and 8 units of special equipment were involved to eliminate the consequences of enemy attack. All fires were successfully extinguished", the rescuers said.

 

The alarm began to spread across Ukraine after midnight. It continued throughout the night. As of 5 a.m., almost all regions of our country were red.

Explosions were heard in the Cherkasy and Kyiv regions, where the air defense system was triggered.

They fought off the attack in the morning of August 30.  According to local authorities, debris fell in two districts of the capital, Darnytskyi and Shevchenkivskyi in particular. The debris fell on non-residential buildings, particularly shopping centers. There was a fire in an open area in the Shevchenkivskyi district.

Two security guards of the enterprise were killed in Shevchenkivskyi district. Three more people were injured with varying degrees of severity.
