As a result of the "bavovna" in temporarily occupied Yuriivka near Mariupol on August 14, the Russian occupants suffered significant losses in manpower and equipment. Some of them were liquidated on the spot, some of the invaders died in hospitals in Mariupol and Mangush before morning.

The night was not easy for the occupants in the resort town of Yuriivka: they were carrying the wounded and corpses and stretching the battered equipment until morning. The number of wounded, Andryushchenko claims, passed well over a hundred.
"All night long they were dismantling the aftermath and carrying out the wounded, corpses and pulling out the broken equipment. According to the number of buses and trucks marked "300", the number of affected is about 123-140 non-humans. Plus burned trucks, fuel tankers and two IFWs", - wrote the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol.
At the same time, he noted that it is still impossible to neither confirm nor deny the information about the liquidation of Russian Colonel Viktor Kovalev reported by Russian propagandists and occupiers.

Also, obituaries started appearing in z-publics, saying that another Russian colonel, Viktor Kovalev, was among those liquidated in Yuriivka. According to the occupiers, the strike was allegedly carried out by Storm Shadow missiles.
