Klishchiyivka is finally liberated from the occupiers: Ukrainian Armed Forces show video
The Ukrainian Armed Forces have finally liberated Klishchiyivka, Donetsk region. The Russian invaders were driven out of the settlement near Bakhmut by soldiers of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade, the 5th separate assault brigade and the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine "Lut".
The defenders showed a video from the village liberated from the enemy. The video was posted on Facebook (to view the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
"The settlement of Klishchiyivka was finally liberated from Russian invaders by the forces of the 80th separate airborne assault brigade, the 5th separate assault brigade and the Joint Assault Brigade of the National Police of Ukraine "Lut", the statement said.
At the same time, according to the soldiers, the enemy is constantly trying to inflict maximum damage on Ukrainian defenders.
"They are using all possible means of fire. We sincerely thank the volunteers and volunteer organizations that are a reliable rear for us! Thank you for your constant help and support! We are standing strong! After all, this is our land! Glory to the Defenders of Ukraine! Glory to Ukraine!" the soldiers added.
In addition, the head of the press service of the Eastern Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Ilya Yevlash, confirmed the information about the liberation of this settlement.
"Ukrainian troops have liberated Klishchiyivka in Donetsk region, seven kilometers from Bakhmut," he told Suspilne.
"Klishchiyivka is Ukraine. I thank the soldiers for the de-occupation of Ukrainian land," Yermak wrote.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, posted a photo of Ukrainian soldiers holding the national flag and the battle flags of their units against the background of a destroyed building. He wrote that "Ukraine always gets its own back."
