The commander of the Tavria operational and strategic grouping of troops, Oleksandr Tarnavskyi, showed the results of the combat work of the soldiers of the 58th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi in the east. The defenders are turning Russian tanks, armored personnel carriers, and other armored vehicles into piles of scrap.

Tarnavskyi posted the photos on his official Telegram channel on March 1. He noted that the defense operation is ongoing and thanked every soldier for their courage and resilience.

"The piles of destroyed Russian scrap metal that used to be tanks, armored personnel carriers, and other equipment are the work of the heroic 58th Separate Motorized Infantry Brigade named after Hetman Ivan Vyhovskyi," the post reads.

The commander added that Ukraine's defenders continue to beat the occupiers and destroy their equipment.
