Internet providers in occupied Crimea denounce their users to the FSB - Atesh

Anonymous VPN networks turned out to be inaccessible in a number of regions of the Russian Federation

In occupied Crimea Internet providers denounce the FSB of the Russian Federation on their subscribers. They are ordered to report all cases of use of VPN-services, which allow anonymous connection to the network.

The guerrilla movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars "Atesh" warned about this on September 11. "Our agent from the FSB reports that received an order from his superiors to increase counterintelligence work in the Bakhchisaray district," - said in a message Telegram-channel of the movement.

The reason was the "strong pro-Ukrainian stance" of local Crimean Tatars and Ukrainians, Atesh said.

In particular, the Bakhchysaray providers Agronet and Komnet were ordered to report all cases of using virtual private networks (VPNs).

For this purpose, the operators have been given separate phones for prompt communication with the FSB.

"Be careful and remember that freedom will definitely come!" - urged the partisans.

- The SBU caught on the hot FSB agent who aimed Russian missiles at the object "Ukrzaliznytsia". The traitor turned out to be a resident of Slavuta in Khmelnitsky region.

- In August, British intelligence noted that Moscow has blocked access to VPN networks in a number of Russian regions, which prevent it from establishing full control over information inside the country. Russians are frightened that VPNs allegedly put personal data at risk.
