Intelligence officers and special forces destroyed enemy's Kupol and Buk in the Luhansk region. Video
Reconnaissance officers and special forces carried out another successful "demilitarization" of the occupants in the Luhansk region. They destroyed a 9S18 Kupol target detection station and a Buk SAM system.
It was hit near Svatove village on August 30. Details and the video of the destruction of enemy equipment were published by the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry.
"On August 30, 2023, the intelligence officers of the Main Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine in cooperation with the soldiers of the Omega Separate Detachment of Special Forces destroyed three units of military equipment of the Russian invaders in the occupied part of the Luhansk region near the town of Svatove, that includes 9S18 Kupol target detection station, Buk SAM and its launcher," the message noted.
Intelligence officers said that they noticed the enemy equipment when it was traveling on dirt roads outside the settlement. The warriors did not hesitate and hit the targets with kamikaze drones.
The General Staff updated the data on Russia's losses in the war against Ukraine on the morning of September 2. The defenders eliminated about 570 invaders during the previous day, making irrecoverable losses of Russia in manpower exceed 264 thousand people.
Ukrainian soldiers also destroyed 120 units of enemy equipment and weapons over the day, 30 artillery systems in particular.
In August, the Ukrainian Armed Forces broke a record in terms of the number of Russian artillery losses.
