In the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, people complained about a drone attack on an aviation center: explosions were heard

Drones attacked the Borisogleb Aviation Training Center

On the morning of April 9, explosions occur red in the Voronezh region of Russia near the Borisogleb Aviation Training Center. The building was damaged, according to Russian media, due to a drone attack.

The Ministry of Defense of the aggressor country reported the "downing" of four UAVs on the territory of the Russian Federation and an alleged missile over Crimea. The incident was reported by Russian Telegram channels.

According to residents of Borysoglebsk, explosions began to be heard in the city around 04:00 on Tuesday. The video captured the moment of arrival against the backdrop of firing by the "vaunted" Russian air defense system, which was trying to neutralize the target in the sky.

The governor of the Voronezh region claimed that "one drone was shot down over the region," but would not say which institution it was trying to hit.

ASTRA, which positions itself as a publication of independent Russian journalists, clarified that it was the Borisogleb Aviation Training Center named after V.P. Chkalov.

According to his sources, the institution was attacked by two drones in total: both exploded, damaging the building's facade and windows. No one was reportedly injured.

For its part, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported "four downed UAVs" over the territories of the Belgorod and Voronezh regions of the Russian Federation, as well as a "destroyed" Neptune missile allegedly over the coast of the temporarily occupied Crimea.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukrainian drone strikes on Russian refineries are forcing Russia to look for gasoline imports from Kazakhstan. Moscow has already asked Astana to create an "emergency reserve" of 100,000 metric tons of fuel for it.
