After the flooding, which occurred as a result of the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by Russian occupants, 23 settlements remain flooded in Kherson region: 6 on the right bank of the Kherson region and 17 on the left bank. Also, 18 settlements in Mykolaiv region are partially flooded.
A total of 3,615 people were evacuated from Mykolaiv and Kherson oblasts, water is being pumped out of houses and basements, the water level continues to decrease. This was reported by the State Emergency Service.
In the morning of June 18, noted in the State Emergency Service, the Dnieper in the section of the post "Kherson" there is a decrease in the water level. The recorded level is 0.7 m.
In the controlled part of Kherson region is still flooded 6 settlements. In the temporarily occupied territory - 17.
Since the terrorist attack, 2,783 people have been evacuated from Kherson region, including 309 children and 80 people with low mobility. Also, 284 animals were evacuated from the flooded areas.
716 people were rescued, including 30 children and 40 people with limited mobility.
Pumping water out of houses and basements is also continuing.
" More than 24,000 tons of water from 82 houses and basements were pumped out a day. 107,000 tons of water from 413 houses and basements have been pumped out since the beginning of the work. Brought more than 4 01 tons of water and 36 thousand 597 kg of food and basic necessities ", - noted in the State Emergency Service.
In the Mykolaiv region partially flooded remain 18 settlements in Bashtanka district.
"During the day pumped out 426 cubic meters of water from the territory of 21 households. Since the beginning of the work pumped out 2 thousand 216 cubic meters. of water from 130 households, "- said in the State Emergency Service.
So far, 832 previously evacuated people, including 165 children, are still unable to return home.
We recall that on the previous day it was reported that 31 people remained missing as a result of the bombing of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by the occupants. As of Saturday evening, June 17, the Russian occupants of the Kakhovka hydroelectric plant had killed 16 people: 14 in the Kherson region and two in the Mykolaiv region.
