On the morning of February 1, the Russian terrorist army launched a missile attack on Poltava. The shelling caused significant damage to civilian infrastructure in the regional center.

Once again, Putin's terrorists targeted a multi-story residential building. This was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

Rescuers and other emergency services continue to work at the site of the Russian terrorist attack. According to preliminary data, an enemy missile destroyed the entire entrance of the apartment building.

"The enemy attacked Poltava. A residential building was hit. Rescuers and emergency services are now working at the scene. The information is being clarified. Do not neglect safety, stay in shelters until the end of the day," the Regional Military Administration said.

According to the monitoring channels, the Russians attacked the residential building with an X-22 supersonic cruise missile launched from a Tu-22M3 bomber.

According to preliminary reports, there are civilian casualties as a result of the attack. The number of victims of the missile strike is being clarified.

After 09:30 a.m., rescuers informed that the number of civilians killed in the attack had increased to three. Another 10 people were injured, including one child.

Emergency and rescue operations continue at the site. In total, as of 09:00, the State Emergency Service has rescued 21 people.

As a reminder, on February 1, the Russian terrorist army launched a massive missile attack on Ukraine. A series of explosions occurred in Kharkiv and Poltava regions. The attack caused damage to the energy infrastructure.

Earlier it was reported that on the night of February 1, Russian occupation forces launched a massive attack on Zaporizhzhia with attack UAVs. As a result, the city was destroyed.
