A new season of training for Ukrainian soldiers in the use of the Patriot anti-aircraft missile system has begun in Germany. This time, the Allied Air Force accepted 61 Ukrainian soldiers for training.
This was reported by the German Air Force itself on X (formerly Twitter). They noted that the new exercises will last for several months.
The German Defense Ministry published archival photos from last winter. They pointed out that the principle of modern air defense remains unchanged.
As a reminder, Germany is currently preparing a winter military aid package for Ukraine, which is estimated at 1.4 billion euros. It includes, among other things, Patriot, Iris-T6, Gepard air defense systems and other weapons.
"Anyone who invests in Ukraine now is investing in a future EU member," the chancellor said and promised that Germany would accompany Ukraine on its path of reforms to EU membership.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, Ukraine's forecasts for when it will receive F-16 fighter jets are based on the spring of 2024. Training of our pilots and engineers in the West, as well as the infrastructure for modern fighters in our country is not easy.
