Humeniuk: the occupants have problems with logistics, the AFU destroyed three enemy warehouses on the Left Bank over the day

The Ukrainian military has created serious logistical problems for the occupants in the south. Thanks to bridge damage and effective counter-battery work by the Ukrainian Defense Forces, the invaders are unable to establish supplies.

Meanwhile, the defenders continue to knock out enemy targets. Three Russian ammunition depots were destroyed on the left bank of the Kherson region the day before. This was stated by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South Natalia Humeniuk on air of a TV marathon.

"The logistical plan is not active now. They are trying to fix the situation, but even their units and military observers are howling that the provision is not established. Despite cheerful reports that the bridges have been repaired, it works only on paper," she said.

According to Humeniuk, Ukrainian soldiers continue to strike enemy targets.

"Our counter-battery work is quite effective: three warehouses with ammunition on the temporarily occupied Left Bank were destroyed," she noted.

Difficulties with logistics and the destruction of warehouses are also felt in the number of enemy shelling. Last week the invaders launched around 70-100 shellings per day in the Kherson region, and while already on August 26, for example, the number was 64.

"There is a hunger for shells. They cannot pull up shells directly to the front line and this makes it difficult for them to stay there. Therefore, they often run away from the positions we knock them out from" Humeniuk said.

The head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of the South spoke about the new tactics during the night shelling of the Russian Federation. On the night of August 27, the occupants used a very complex scheme of maneuvering missiles. This is probably due to not only the desire to exhaust the Ukrainian air defense but also to find safe routes for future attacks.
