The building of the Savior-Transfiguration Cathedral received heavy damage, a fire rose inside. The cleric of the Odesa diocese of the UOC, Archdeacon Andriy Palchuk noted that the hit was in the right side of the cathedral, which "penetrated to the ground floor".
