As reported by OBOZ.UA:
– On December 29, during a massive missile attack on Ukraine, a Russian missile was spotted in Poland near the village of Wojcuczyn-Cukrownia, and the Polish General Staff confirmed this fact. It was reported that the missile most likely stayed in NATO airspace for a short time and then returned to Ukraine.
– In connection with the incident, Poland officially appealed to Russia for explanations and "cessation of such activities."
– On January 13, during a new massive Russian attack, the Polish army went on high alert, with F-16s in the sky. Ground-based air defense systems were also activated.
– Military expert Vladyslav Selezniov believes that Russia deliberately used Polish airspace to try to deceive Ukrainian air defense. Thus, the missile flew into Ukraine from the west, from the territory of Poland.
