On the night of January 25, the Russian terrorist army attacked Poltava region with kamikaze drones. Damage to civilian infrastructure was recorded in the Lubny district as a result of a UAV crash.

Five private houses and a fence were damaged in the district. This was reported by the Poltava Regional Military Administration.

According to the OMA, Russian "Geranium-2" kamikaze drones fell on an open area. Fortunately, no civilians were injured in the attack.

Identification specialists from the State Emergency Service were working at the scene. No damage to civilian or critical infrastructure was reported.

Russian drones attacked Poltava region from the southeast. Some of the enemy UAVs flew across the region in the direction of Kyiv and Cherkasy regions.

The danger associated with the drone attack lasted for more than 5 hours in a row in Poltava region – from 21:33 to 02:49 at night.

As a reminder, on the night of January 25, Russian troops attempted to attack critical infrastructure in Cherkasy region with attack drones. The attack damaged a high-rise building and several private houses in Cherkasy.

Earlier it was reported that on January 25, the occupiers shelled Nikopol in Dnipropetrovs'k region with artillery: the occupiers opened fire on Saturday morning, when many residents were at home. Two people were injured in the attack.
