Hitting the oil mill: details of the Russian missile strike on Poltava region are out. Photos and videos

On the night of 28 August, Russian Federation forces launched a missile attack on the village of Gogolevo, Myrhorod district, Poltava region. The missile hit the territory of an enterprise, killing people.
The head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said on his Telegram channel that the explosion caused a fire in the oil mill. As of 13:00 on Monday, 28 August, there were three fatalities and five injuries.
"People were working the night shift," Yermak wrote (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko reported that (as of 13:00) one more person was reported missing. "We are looking for him," he wrote on Telegram.
According to the Interior Minister, five of the injured sustained injuries of varying severity. "All the victims are employees of the enterprise," Klymenko said.
Earlier, the head of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, Dmytro Lunin, said that the enemy had attacked an industrial facility in the region. He noted that the attack had completely destroyed the production shop.
According to monitoring channels, the explosions in Poltava region took place in the morning.
Suspilne reports that 64 rescuers and 14 pieces of equipment were involved in the aftermath of the attack on the private enterprise. The Russian army fired two missiles at the territory.
Three of the five victims were treated on an outpatient basis, and two were hospitalised.
Andriy Ilchenko, chief technologist at PAF Garant, said he received a call at 4:47 a.m. to report the attack. "We immediately came here. The company operates around the clock, so we had a night shift - 25 people in total throughout the territory. Everything was destroyed. The equipment is smashed, and what was on the upper floors is on the ground floor. It will be difficult to restore it," the expert admitted.
According to him, the victims were operators of the baling department. The injured have burns and fractures.
"The deceased who have been found so far are one from Ustyvytsia and one from Gogolevo, a boy... We will definitely provide assistance to the families of the victims. Many philanthropists have approached us and want to help these families. This enterprise was our budget filler," said Volodymyr Datsenko, head of the Gogolivska community.
The Prosecutor General's Office reported that the Russian Armed Forces launched a missile attack in Myrhorod district at around 4:30 a.m. on Monday. "According to preliminary information, three men were killed and five sustained shrapnel wounds," the office said in a post on Telegram. Another employee of the company is still being searched for (as of 15:30).
A pre-trial investigation has been initiated in criminal proceedings over the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
We would like to add that during the night attack on 28 August, the aggressor country fired missiles at Poltava region and Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipro region.
According to a report by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during this enemy attack, our defenders shot down
- 2/2 X-59 cruise missiles;
- 2/4 Kalibr sea-launched cruise missiles.
As reported by OBOZREVATEL, on the night of 27 August, the Russian terrorist state also attacked Ukraine with cruise missiles that constantly changed direction. Air defence forces shot down four enemy missiles. The rest of the targets were probably false.
