He was taken out of the ground: Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers rescue a comrade buried under enemy fire. Video
Ukrainian defenders rescued a fellow soldier who was covered with earth during an enemy shelling. He was literally dug out of the ground and given a new call sign.
The rescue of the Ukrainian soldier was filmed by a camera mounted on the ammunition of one of the soldiers. The video from the front was posted by politician and public figure Boryslav Bereza on his Telegram channel (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
"This is what war looks like. The soldier was rescued, dug up and he continues to fight the Rashists!" Boryslav Bereza commented on the video.
As can be seen from the footage, the Ukrainian soldiers were in the trenches when an enemy shell exploded nearby and completely covered one of the soldiers with earth.
His comrades were not at a loss and began to quickly dig the soldier out. First, they freed his face from the ground so he could breathe. Then they dug up the soldier on both sides of the trench, and having freed his arms, pulled him out from under the rubble.
Fortunately, the rescued soldier was not injured or damaged. His comrades supported the soldier with sincere words and a joke.
"Everything is fine, Serhiy. The main thing is that you are alive. Your call sign will be Mole from now on," said a soldier who noticed the soldier being covered by the ground and was the first to rush to his aid.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the Special Operations Forces of Ukraine showed footage of the evacuation of wounded comrades from another unit of the Defence Forces from the battlefield. The soldiers were wounded during a combat engagement with the occupiers.
