General Staff: Russian troops try to recover lost positions near Bakhmut and Staromaiorske, 33 military clashes during the day

The Russian occupants are trying to regain lost positions near Bakhmut and Staromaiorske. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue conducting offensive operations in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidating on the achieved borders and carrying out counter-battery measures.

The Russian Federation carried out another air strike by Iranian strike UAVs on Ukraine. The forces and means of the Air Force in cooperation with the Air Defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 23 kamikaze UAVs.

The enemy launched 5 missile strikes, 86 airstrikes and 36 shellings from multiple rocket launchers against the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among the civilian population.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes throughout Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy made air strikes in the area of Kazacha Lopan, Kharkiv region in the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions. The enemy launched mortar and artillery attacks on more than 20 settlements, in particular Karpovychi, Novovasylivka in Chernihiv region; Volfyne, Krasnopillia, Rozhkovychi, Stara Huta in Sumy region and Tymofiivka, Veterynarne, Okhrymivka in Kharkiv region.

The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Petropavlivka and Kyslivka in the Kupyansk direction. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy hit Kamianka, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kindrashivka, Krasne Pershe and Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

The enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Bilohorivka in the Lugansk region and Serebrianka and Spirne in the Donetsk region in the Lyman direction. Artillery shelling targeted the localities of Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Verkhniokamianka, Spirne and Torske in the Donetsk region.

The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost ground west of Kurdiumivka, south of Andriivka and west of Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region in the Bakhmut direction. The occupants launched air strikes in the areas of Druzhba and New York. Enemy artillery shelling affected more than 10 settlements, including Vasiukivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar and Ivanivske in Donetsk region.

The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Avdiivka in the Avdiivka direction. Novokalynovo, Stepne, Berdychi, Avdiivka and Pervomaisk in Donetsk region were subjected to artillery shelling.

The defense forces continue to hold back the offensive of the Russian troops near the town of Marinka in the Marinka direction. The enemy has shelled the settlements of Krasnohorivka, Oleksandropol, Hostre, Marinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

The enemy launched an air strike in the vicinity of Staromaiorske in the Shakhtarsk direction. The enemy made unsuccessful attempts to restore the lost position west of Staromaiorske and north of Urozhaine. More than 10 localities, including Uhledar, Vodiane, Blahodatne and Storozheve in Donetsk region, were subjected to artillery shelling.

The enemy is concentrating the main efforts to prevent further advance of our troops in the Zaporozhzhia direction. The enemy made air strikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka and Piatykhatky in Zaporizhzhia region. Artillery shelling hit more than 10 settlements, among them Novodarivka, Bilohiria, Huliaipole, Zaliznychne and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region.

The enemy launched an air strike in the Odradokamianka area in the Kherson direction. More than 15 localities were subjected to artillery shelling, including Vesele, Dudchany, Dniprovsky, Tiahynka and the city of Kherson.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk directions, consolidate on the achieved borders and carry out counter-battery countermeasures.

The aviation of the Defense Forces made 9 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the enemy and one strike on the anti-aircraft missile complex of the occupants.

Units of rocket troops and artillery hit 20 artillery means on firing positions, 1 radar station, 2 control points, 1 area of concentration of weapons and military equipment, 1 means of air defense, 1 area of concentration of personnel and 2 ammunition.
