General Staff: occupants intensified repressions against ZNPP workers in Enerhodar

Russian war criminals continue to put pressure on Ukrainians who have found themselves under temporary occupation. For example, workers of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP) in Enerhodar are suffering because of this once again.

The occupants intimidate and apply reprisals to them for their Ukrainian position. The situation was described in a summary for the morning of July 23 by the General Staff of the AFU.

"In the temporarily seized city of Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers have intensified repression against ZNPP workers who refuse to cooperate and sign contracts with the Russian occupation administration", report states.

It is noted that Ukrainians continue to resist: they do not go to work, sabotage the implementation of the enemy's decisions, etc.

At the same time, war criminals apply measures of psychological and physical influence. In particular, employees of the Russian Federal Guard and the FSB of the Russian Federation use intimidation, threats and blackmail.

"They also beat Ukrainian specialists, take away their cash, funds from bank cards and seize cell phones," the General Staff pointed out.

Earlier it was noted that the occupiers are trying to start up unit No. 4 at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, which threatens the nuclear and radiation safety of the plant. They tried to force the Ukrainian personnel to do so, but the nuclear workers refused to comply with the criminal order. It is known that about 30 of them managed to leave the temporarily occupied city for the controlled territory of Ukraine.

At the same time, the invaders had to bring Russian nuclear workers to ZNPP. Preliminarily, we are talking about employees of six nuclear power plants from the territory of the aggressor country.

As reported by OBOZREVATEL, according to the DIU of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, Russian troops are planning to organize an armed provocation at the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant wth the use of heavy weapons. The invaders are now preparing simulated shelling of the strategic facility, which they will try to pass off as an attempt to "storm" the station by the AFU.
