General Staff: enemy has increased the number of attacks in the Kupiansk sector, the border is being "covered" by CABs

Since the beginning of this day, 74 direct combat engagements have already taken place on the frontline between Russian occupants and Ukrainian defenders. The enemy has increased the number of attacks in the Kupiansk sector and is covering the border with anti-aircraft guns.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are resolutely restraining the onslaught and responding decisively to any enemy actions. This is stated in the report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 16:00.

The occupiers continue to shell the border settlements of Ukraine. The enemy fired unguided aerial missiles from the direction of Kucherov village at the area of Myropillia in the Sumy region.

In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy is actively using guided aerial bombs from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation. The strikes were carried out from the direction of Shebekino on Vovchansk and Hlyboke, from the direction of Ushakove on Podoliany, from the direction of Belgorod on Liptsi and Terny, and the area of Valkovske on Veterynne. The enemy also attacked the area of Hlyboke.

In the Kupiansk sector, the enemy increased the number of attacks, making six unsuccessful attempts to push our troops, as well as three assault actions in the areas of Synkivka, Berestove, and Pishchane.

The enemy is most active in the Pokrovsk sector, where 25 attacks took place today, nine of which are still ongoing. In particular, fighting continues in the areas of Kalynove, Yevhenivka, and Novoselivka Persha. Russian aviation used guided aerial bombs, which resulted in the bombing of the areas of Oleksandropol, Vozdvyzhenka, Progres, and Vovche.

One combat engagement took place in the Prydniprovskyi sector.

In addition, one enemy attack was registered in the Kramatorsk, Vremivsk, and Orikhivsk sectors, all of which were unsuccessful for the enemy.

The situation in other sectors remained without significant changes.
