General Staff confirms attack on fuel and lubricants depot in Voronezh region: there are hits
On the night of October 4, the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck a fuel and lubricants base of the Russian occupiers in the Voronezh region. It was confirmed that at least one of the tanks was hit.
This was stated by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. According to the report, the strike was on the "Annanefteprodukt" fuel storage base near the village of Anna, Voronezh region of the Russian Federation.
The General Staff added that Russian air defense systems were observed operating in the area of the enemy object.
At the same time, it was confirmed that at least one of the vertical tanks was hit.
A fire broke out.
"The task was carried out by the forces and means of the Security Service of Ukraine in cooperation with other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The results of the strike are being clarified. To be continued... Glory to Ukraine!" the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in a statement.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, in the Voronezh region of the Russian Federation, people complained about explosions and a UAV attack at night. It was noisy in the Anninsky district, where, according to Russian media, a drone attacked an oil depot. Video from the site of the hit showed a fire and the sound of a UAV flying. Governor Alexander Gusev said that the RBM had allegedly "suppressed" the drones, but one did fall on the territory of the oil depot, causing an allegedly empty tank to catch fire, and there was allegedly no damage to the oil depot.
