More than 30 military clashes took place on the Ukrainian front during July 27. Our defenders successfully repulsed enemy attacks near Klishchiivka and Avdiivka, held the enemy offensive back near Marinka and also liberated Staromaiorske. Currently, the soldiers continue the offensive operation towards Melitopol and Berdiansk in Zaporizhzhia.

At the same time, the Russian command brought another hundred untrained conscripts " to Luhansk region, which they intend to use to strengthen the assault detachments of the invading troops. The latest developments from the front were reported by the General Staff of the AFU in the morning report for July 28, the 520th day of the full-scale war.

It is estimated that the enemy carried out three missile and 29 air strikes on the previous day, making more than 70 shellings from multiple rocket launchers on the positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of the Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are dead and wounded among the civilian population and damage of port infrastructure and residential buildings in southern Ukraine.

The operational situation in the Volyn and Polisia directions is without significant changes. At the same time, the enemy conducted mortar and artillery attacks on more than 35 settlements, including Novovasylivka, Stara Huta, Iskryskivshchyna, Volfyne, Bilovody, Pokrovka in Sumy region and Huriv Kozachok, Udy, Bochkovo, Mala Vovcha, Budarky in Kharkiv region in the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions.

The occupants launched an air strike near Iziumske, fired artillery and mortars at Fiholivka, Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Kislivka and Novoosynove in Kharkiv region in the Kupyansk direction.

Russian Armed Forces conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the Nadiia area in the Lyman direction and launched an air strike near Belohorivka in Luhansk region. The settlements of Nevske and Belohorovka in the Luhansk region and Spirne, Berestove, Torske and Verkhnyokamianske n the Donetsk region were subjected to enemy shelling.

AFU soldiers successfully repulsed the attacks of enemy troops in the area of Avdiivka in the Avdiivka direction under the dense fire of Russian aviation and artillery. More than 15 settlements, including Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Vodiane, Pervomaiske and Karlivka were subjected to artillery fire from the aggressor.

Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian Army's offensive in the area of Marinka in the Marinka direction. The occupants shelled more than 10 settlements, including Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka, Marinka, Kurakhivka, Peremoha and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

More than 15 settlements, including Novodarivka, Huliaipole, Charivne, Bilohiria and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in Dnepropetrovsk region; Mykhailivka, Zmiivka, Odradokamianka, Lviv, Tokarivka, Antonivka and Rozlyv in Kherson region were subjected to artillery shelling. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol and Berdiansk areas and consolidate on the achieved borders.

Russian occupation troops continue to throw recently mobilized servicemen into battle without prior combat training. For example, about 110 conscripts arrived from the territory of the Russian Federation to the training camp of one of the units of the Russian occupation troops in the village of Rohove in the Luhansk region. The Russian command informed the newly arrived personnel that they would be included in the assault units and would soon be sent to the area where they would perform combat tasks on the collision line as soon as they were given their weapons.

Defense Forces aviation recently carried out seven strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the Russian Armed Forces, destroying one anti-aircraft missile systems and one enemy's control point. The defenders destroyed eight Shahed-136 attack drones and five reconnaissance UAVs of operational-tactical level.
