General Staff: AFU repulsed enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka, the enemy's control center and ammunition storage were hit

Ukrainian soldiers repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka. A counteroffensive by the Defense Forces in Bakhmut and Melitopol direction continues.

Meanwhile, the enemy is suffering losses: the day before, the defenders hit the enemy's command post and the military base. This is stated in the morning operational report of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

"The Ukrainian Defense Forces continue to conduct defensive operations in the east and south of Ukraine and offensive operations in Melitopol and Bakhmut directions, destroying the enemy, liberating the temporarily occupied territories step by step, and consolidating the achieved positions. 108 combat engagements took place over the day," the report says.

Meanwhile, the enemy continues to fight with the civilian population of Ukraine. On October 10, Russian troops attacked civilian houses in the village of Velykyi Burluk, Kharkiv region, with an S-300 anti-aircraft guided missile.

The invaders also attacked the southern regions of Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs: most of them were destroyed by Air Defense Forces.

"In total, the enemy launched 2 missile and 76 air strikes, fired 83 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas. Unfortunately, the Russian terrorist attacks resulted in civilian casualties, including children," the General Staff said.

As a result of the Russian strikes, private houses and civilian infrastructure were damaged in Bleshnya, Chernihiv region; Bachivsk and Popivka, Sumy region; Basove, Hatyshche, Vovchansky Khutory, Synkivka, Kyslivka, Pishchane, Kharkiv region; Serebryansky Forestr, Novoliubivka, Luhansk region; Spirne, Chasiv Yar, Klishchiivka, Andriivka, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Novomykhailivka, Staromaiorske, Donetsk region; Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Zaporizhzhia region.

The enemy shelled more than 130 settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions with artillery the day before.

The operational situation in the area of responsibility of Operation Command North in the Volyn and Polissa directions remains without significant changes.

The enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas in the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, conducting active sabotage activities to prevent the deployment of our troops to threatened areas, and increasing the density of minefields along the state border in the Belgorod region.

Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 30 enemy attacks near the settlements of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region In the area of responsibility of the Khortytsia Operational-Strategic Group of Forces in the Kupiansk direction.

The Defense Forces continue to hold back the enemy's offensive in the areas of Makiivka and Dibrova in the Luhansk region in the Lyman direction.

Our defenders repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region in the Bakhmut direction. At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue their assault operations south of Bakhmut in the Donetsk region, having succeeded in the areas east of Klishchiivka and east of Andriivka.

The enemy with up to three battalions supported by tanks and armored vehicles intensified offensive actions in the areas of Avdiivka, Tonenke, Keramik and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region in the area of responsibility of the Tavria Brigade in the Avdiivka direction. Our defenders repelled all enemy attacks and prevented the loss of borders and positions.

Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully repelled over 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region in the Marinka direction.

The enemy conducted unsuccessful offensives near Zolota Nyva and Volonodyne in the Donetsk region in the Shakhtarsk direction.

Our defenders are holding back the enemy near Inzhenerne and Verbove in the Zaporizhzhia region in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

The Ukrainian Defense Forces are continuing their offensive in the Melitopol direction and have improved the tactical situation in the area west of Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region.

During the fighting, Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses in manpower and equipment on the occupation forces.

Thus, the Defense Forces are conducting counter-battery combat, destroying supply depots, and successfully hitting the enemy's rear in the area of responsibility of the Odesa Operational-Strategic Group of Forces in the Kherson direction.

Over the past day, the aviation of the Defense Forces carried out 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and nine on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems. Our defenders also destroyed a Russian Su-25 fighter and 7 tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

The missile troops hit a control center, an ammunition depot, 3 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 7 artillery pieces and an enemy electronic warfare station.

As a reminder, according to the General Staff, on October 10, Ukrainian soldiers eliminated about 820 Russian occupants. As of the morning of October 11, the enemy's irreversible losses in manpower reached 283,900.
