General Staff: AFU repelled enemy attacks in six directions and continued counteroffensive, with 28 military clashes occuring during the day

Ukraine's Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks in six areas. Ukrainian soldiers are also advancing in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions.

This is reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. There were 28 combat engagements during the day.

Russia continues to wage a war of aggression. Despite significant losses, it has not abandoned its plans to fully occupy our territory.

The enemy continues to ignore the laws and customs of war and uses terror tactics, strikes and shells both on military and civilian objects, which unfortunately results in civilian casualties.

Over the last day, 28 combat engagements took place. The enemy launched 2 missile and 57 air strikes and fired 43 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of our troops and populated areas.

The Russian Federation also struck Ukraine with 33 Shahed-136/131 attack UAVs. Ukrainian Air Defense Forces and other means destroyed 25 enemy drones.

Unfortunately, Russian terrorist attacks have resulted in civilian casualties and injuries. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were destroyed and damaged.

The operational situation in eastern and southern Ukraine remains difficult.

The situation has not changed significantly In the Volyn and Polissia directions. There are no signs of offensive groups forming.

Some units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are performing tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

The enemy maintains the military presence in the border areas, continues shelling settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation, and increases the density of minefields along the state border of Ukraine in the Siversky and Slobozhansk directions.

More than 15 settlements came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Vovkivka, Stepove, Novodmytrivka, and Popivka in the Sumy region; Vovchansk, Hatyshche, and Zemlianky in the Kharkiv region.

Our defenders repelled enemy attacks near the towns of Synkivka and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region In the Kupiansk direction. The enemy launched air strikes near Podoly, Ivanivka, Synkivka, and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv region.

Artillery and mortar attacks by the enemy were carried out near more than 15 settlements, including Kamianka, Dvorichna, Berestove, Kyslivka, and Ivanivka in the Kharkiv region.

Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled five enemy attacks in the area east of Makiivka, Luhansk region, in the Lyman direction. The enemy launched air strikes in the vicinity of Pisky-Radkivski in the Kharkiv region, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne and Vesele in the Donetsk region.

More than 10 localities suffered from artillery and mortar shelling, including Nevske and Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region and Spirne and Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

The enemy unsuccessfully tried to regain lost ground in the area south of Andriivka, Donetsk region, in the Bakhmut direction. He carried out air strikes in the vicinity of Klishchiivka and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

More than 15 localities came under artillery and mortar fire, including Khromove, Hodyn Yar, Klishchiivka, and Andriivka in the Donetsk region.

The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Avdiivka in the Avdiivka direction. About 10 localities came under enemy artillery and mortar fire, including Avdiivka, Pivnichne and Pervomaiske in the Donetsk region.

Ukrainian troops successfully repelled about 10 enemy attacks in the areas of Marinka and Novomykhailivka in the Maryinka direction over the last day. The enemy launched air strikes near Novomykhailivka and Kostiantynivka.

About 10 settlements were under occupants' fire, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Peremoha and Novomykhailivka in the Donetsk region.

Our defenders repelled enemy attacks near Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Staromaiorske in the Donetsk region and north of Pryiutne in the Zaporizhzhia region in the Shakhtarsk direction.

Ukrainian Armed Forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the area north-east of Novoprokopivka in the Zaporizhzhia direction. The occupants launched an air strike near Mala Tokmachka.

More than 20 settlements came under artillery and mortar fire, including Poltavka, Huliaipole, Mala Tokmachka, Robotyne, Piatykhatky, and Kamianske in the Zaporizhzhia region.

Antonivka and Kherson came under hostile artillery and mortar fire in the Kherson direction.

At the same time, AFU continues to conduct an offensive operation in the Melitopol and Bakhmut directions, inflicting losses on the occupation forces in manpower and equipment and depleting the enemy along the entire front line.

During the day, the aviation of the defense forces carried out 11 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment and 3 strikes on enemy anti-aircraft missile systems.

The missile troops destroyed 1 control center, 1 air defense system, 6 artillery units, 1 personnel concentration area and 1 enemy electronic warfare station.
