The Russian occupants continue to concentrate their main efforts in the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Marinka directions, heavy fighting continues. During the day there were 19 military clashes.

The General Staff noted that Russia continues to kill Ukrainian civilians, ignores the laws and customs of war and uses terror tactics.

According to the statement, the Russians carried out another massive missile and aviation strike on the territory of Ukraine, using 16 sea-based Kalibr cruise missiles, 8 X-22 cruise missiles, 6 Onyx cruise missiles, 1 X-59 guided aircraft missile and 32 Shahed-type kamikaze drones.

"According to the results of combat work, the air defense of the Air Force and air defense of other components of the Ukrainian Defense Forces destroyed 13 Kalibr cruise missiles, 1 guided aviation missile X-59 and 23 UAVs." In addition, the enemy carried out 66 air strikes and about 30 shelling from multiple rocket launchers," the report said.

The General Staff notes that the probability of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Situation at the front

The operational situation in Volyn and Polissia directions is without significant changes. No signs of offensive groupings have been detected. Certain units of the Belarusian army are carrying out tasks in the areas bordering Ukraine.

In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions the enemy maintains military presence. The enemy fired mortars and artillery at more than 20 settlements. In particular, these are Hirsk, Yelino, Leonivka, Chernihiv region; Seredyna-Buda, Bachivsk Sumy region and Udy, Kozacha Lopan, Strilka, Vovchansk, Mala Vovcha, Budarky Kharkiv region.

In the Kupiansk direction the AFU are defending. The enemy launched an air strike in the area of Kyslivka. Artillery and mortar shelling of the enemy were subjected to Dvorichna, Zakhidne, Senkivka, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv region.

In the Lyman direction, the enemy launched air strikes in the areas of Belohorivka in the Lugansk region and Sriblianka in the Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was subjected to the settlements of Nevske, Belohorivka in the Lugansk region and Torske, Verkhnokamianske, Berestove, Rozdolivka in the Donetsk region.

In the Bakhmut direction, under heavy artillery fire, the Defense Forces successfully repulsed enemy attacks near Bohdanivka, Donetsk region. More than ten settlements were affected by Russian artillery shelling. Among them are Vasyukivka, Markove, Bohdanivka, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Stupochky, Oleksandro-Shultyne in Donetsk region.

In the Avdiivka direction, the AFU repelled attacks by Russian troops in the Nevelske area under dense enemy air and artillery fire. The enemy launched missile and air strikes near the town of Avdiivka. At the same time, it fired artillery shells at more than 10 settlements, in particular, Lastochkyne, Avdiivka, Karlivka and Nevelske in Donetsk region were hit.

In the Marinka direction, the Defense Forces continue to hold back the Russian troops' offensive in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The enemy shelled more than 10 localities. Among them are Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Heorhiivka and Peremoha in Donetsk region.

In the Shakhtar direction the enemy shelled more than 10 settlements, in particular, Paraskoviivka, Novomyikhailivka, Uhledar and Blahodatne in Donetsk region came under fire.

In the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts on preventing further advancement of the Ukrainian Defense Forces. The enemy made futile attempts to regain lost positions in the area north of Pryiutne, Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 localities were subjected to artillery shelling. Among them are Novodarivka, Olhivske, Malynivka, Huliaipole, Zheleznodorozhne, Bilohiria, Lobkove in the Zaporizhzhia region; Dudchany, Kozatske, Lvove, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Berehove, Kizomys in the Kherson region and Kherson.

"At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue conducting offensive operations in Melitopol and Berdyansk directions, consolidate on the achieved borders, inflict fire damage by artillery on identified enemy targets and implement counter-battery measures," the General Staff said in a statement.

Situation in the temporarily occupied territories

The Russians continue to re-equip the objects of civil infrastructure of the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine for their needs.

"Yes, in the house of culture of Kalanchak village council of Kherson region, the occupants have arranged a military hospital, where more than 50 Russian invaders are being treated with wounds of varying severity and are on rehabilitation," the message stated.

Aviation of the defense forces for the day made 5 strikes on the areas of concentration of personnel of the Russian army. Also the AFU destroyed 2 reconnaissance drones of operational-tactical level.

Units of rocket troops and artillery for this day hit 3 areas of concentration of enemy manpower, weapons and military equipment, 9 artillery means on firing positions, 2 air defense means and electronic warfare station of the Russians.
