For the first time during the war: Ukrainian Armed Forces destroy modern Russian radar "Predel-E" in Kherson region. Video
In the south of our country, Ukrainian army soldiers destroyed military equipment of the occupation forces, which Russia calls "unique". It is a mobile coastal radar station of over-the-horizon detection with increased secrecy "Predel-E".
This was reported on the official Telegram channel of the Southern Defence Forces on Monday, 28 August. They also showed unique footage of the enemy destroying this station (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).
According to the aggressor state, "Predel-E" is a novelty of the Russian military-industrial complex. The station was presented only to a narrow circle of specialists in June 2023.

Then, in top secret mode, the equipment was sent to the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson region to monitor the actions of the Ukrainian Defence Forces by sea and land.

The exclusive station in the Kherson region was covered by another modern Russian electronic warfare system, the Leer-2, but Ukrainian soldiers also "cancelled" it out of the enemy's hands.

"And in August, a unique development worth $200 million was fried to ashes by our soldiers, along with the defence complex. This is the limit of the Russians' capabilities in southern Ukraine," the statement said.

The video shows two occupiers' installations located on the coast being destroyed in succession. After a precise strike, the burned-out Russian "Predel-E" is visible.

Russian propagandists previously wrote that the Predel-E station was developed to equip the posts of the coastal system for monitoring the surface and air situation at distances exceeding the radio horizon in order to control the territory and detect border violations.
As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, Ukrainian soldiers hit an enemy command post. Upon arrival, it burned to the ground. This was the result of the effective work of Ukrainian MLRS in southern Ukraine.
