"For Crocus City Hall": Russians left a cynical inscription on the Shahed that hit Kharkiv

Russians left a cynical inscription on the Shahed that struck Kharkiv

In Kharkiv, the wreckage of a Shahed-type kamikaze drone with a cynical message from the Russians was found at the site of an enemy strike on April 4. The occupiers wrote on the UAV, which was launched at the residential infrastructure of the Ukrainian city: "For Crocus City Hall".

In this way, the war criminals hinted that they had attacked Kharkiv region "in retaliation" for the events in the concert hall near Moscow, to which Ukraine had nothing to do. The photo was published by the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The photo shows that the inscription "For Crocus City Hall" was scratched by Russian terrorists on a part of the Shahed along with the phrase "not brothers".

"The terrorist state took the lives of four people. Among them are a civilian and three rescuers. Another 12 people were wounded. It is insidious and cynical to strike peaceful residential areas with drones at night... To hit the employees of the State Emergency Service who courageously and selflessly save the lives of each of us at the cost of their own lives every day. Our condolences to the families and friends of the victims," the prosecutor's office said.

As a reminder, the Russian occupation forces attacked Kharkiv and the region with two dozen attack UAVs all night and morning on Thursday, April 4. The defenders of the sky managed to shoot down 11 enemy targets, and the rest resulted in hits on high-rise buildings and other civilian infrastructure.

A 69-year-old woman died during one of the strikes on a house in Novobavarsky district. When the rescue services arrived at the scene, the enemy struck again, killing three employees of the State Emergency Service: 32-year-old Serhiy Baidalinov, 41-year-old Volodymyr Matiushenko and 52-year-old Vladyslav Lohinov.

12 people were injured – a nurse, a rescuer, a police officer, and nine civilians. In the city and region, houses, shops, trade pavilions, pharmacies, cars (including fire trucks), a medical facility and ambulance, a business, and power facilities were damaged.

As reported by OBOZ.UA, the Afghan branch of the ISIS terrorist organization, IS-Khorasan, claimed responsibility for the attack in Crocus City Hall near Moscow on March 22. For more than two weeks, the United States had been warning Russia about the possible terrorist attack, as had Russia's friend Iran, but the Russian authorities and intelligence services did not take any measures to prevent it.

Experts are convinced that the Kremlin will continue its efforts to blame Ukraine for the attack in the Crocus, hoping to strengthen support for the war among the aggressor country's population. However, the Kremlin's obsession with blaming Kyiv is a security threat to Russia itself.
