On the morning of March 25, explosions occurred in Kyiv during an air raid alert. The air defense system hit the targets, but preliminary reports indicate that there is damage due to falling debris, and four people were injured, including a 16-year-old girl.

"The air defense alert is on! Air defense is working in the capital. Stay in shelters until the air raid is over!" said Serhiy Popko, head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, as of 10:31 a.m.

"Explosions in the capital. Urgently take cover!" called Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klychko.

As of 10:42 a.m., the KCMA reported that as a result of a missile attack on Kyiv, debris was preliminarily recorded falling in the Pechersk district. Emergency services have arrived at the scene.

According to Klychko, emergency calls were made to the Pechersk, Solomyansky, and Dniprovsky districts of the capital. Later, the mayor of Kyiv said that a non-residential three-story building in Pechersk was destroyed, and four people were injured.

"Four people were injured in the Pechersk district. Two women were treated on the spot. Two, including a 16-year-old girl, were hospitalized," Klychko said.

In the Holosiivsky district, fragments of a rocket were found in a forest belt, the KCMA reported.

In Darnytsia district, a fragment damaged a private house in Oskorky. Emergency services arrived at the scene, preliminarily without casualties, said Mykola Kalashnyk, acting head of the Darnytsia district state administration in Kyiv.

The air alert in Kyiv and the region was announced at 10:29 a.m. The Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces reported a threat of ballistic missile use from the south and a missile heading for the capital of Ukraine.

The explosions in Kyiv occurred at 10:29. According to monitoring channels, as of 10:32 a.m., the missile threat had already passed.
