"Everything is just beginning": The "Atesh" movement claimed responsibility for the assassination attempt on Prilepin. Photos and video of the explosion site

On May 6, Russia announced that a car carrying the famous propagandist Zakhar Prilepin, who had been fighting against Ukraine for several years, was blown up: he was seriously injured. The partisan movement of Ukrainians and Crimean Tatars "Atesh" hinted about their involvement in the fact that the occupant was finally hit by karma.

The partisans noted that they "suspected" for a long time that such "trouble" could happen to Prilepin - and they were not mistaken. Atesh said in a statement.

"The Atesh movement has been hunting for Prilepin since the beginning of the year. They got him. It's all just beginning for the r*shists. Zakhar Prilepin was a shitty writer, and a shitty person. There was a feeling that sooner or later he would be blown up. Just as a feeling. And it came true - he was driving his trump Audi Q7 to his relatives in Nizhniy Novgorod. But I was not driving by myself, but with a surprise on the car bottom. The surprise worked. Zakhar is in hospital. Our predictions always come true, because we not only talk, but also do", - noted in the message.

On January 28 this year, after Russia said that Prilepin had signed a contract with the "Rosgvardiya" and gone to fight against Ukraine, Atesh hinted to the occupant: they were doing everything to make his life short.

"An order for Prilepin has been issued! We sent more than 5 thousand SMS to our agents and the Russian military to find and eliminate the famous r*shist. Zakhar Prilepin is a former Russian State Duma deputy, chauvinist and misanthropist. Zakhar, we're coming for you, good night," partisans wrote at the time.

Prilepin has been included in the "Peacemaker" database since March 2015 as an accomplice of terrorists and later as a Russian mercenary. According to Mirotvorets, in December 2015 this character was appointed "advisor" to the leader of the "DNR," and in the fall of 2016 he became deputy commander of the so-called "04 RSBSN DNR.

He created armed formations in the occupied territories of Ukraine, and boasted that he and his associates had killed many people.

Thus, in 2019, Prilepin, for whom Zakharova and Sobchak synchronously "pray", spoke in detail about what he did in Ukraine for years.

"I ran a combat unit that killed people in large numbers. Those people died, they're buried. They're lying in the ground. They're just murdered. And there are a lot of them. No unit from the Donetsk battalions in terms of performance - rarely could compare to my battalion," the occupant declared in one interview.

He frankly enjoyed being given the opportunity to kill Ukrainians and commit war crimes on Ukrainian soil.

"Everything we did was total, shitty lawlessness, what we were doing. It makes me especially laugh because of the attacks on me, that I am supposedly a fake field commander. No one, no field commander has had as many results as I have. All these documents will come out one day. One day everyone will read these documents and find out which areas had the most casualties. And that's where my battalion stood," Prilepin declared.

Let us remind that on May 6 it became known about the explosion of the car in which Prilepin and his security guard-driver were traveling in the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation. The propagandist's car was literally blown apart by the explosion, almost completely demolishing its front end.

The driver was killed on the spot, while Prilepin himself was seriously injured. According to some reports, his leg was torn off.

Russia has already thrown a real tantrum about it. For example, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova accused Ukraine and Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky of what happened, and "liberal" Kseniya Sobchak began to argue that it was unacceptable to eliminate a mercenary who had confessed to numerous murders and war crimes.
