Elite units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces arrive at the border with Russia in the Sumy region
On Sunday, May 21, elite units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine arrived at the border of Sumy region with Russia. The military is equipped with modern and powerful equipment in accordance with NATO standards.
As OBOZREVATEL has learned, this operation is intended to strengthen the frontline positions on the border of Sumy region. The reason for this is the increase in the number of troops on the enemy side.
Ukrainian special forces have begun arriving in settlements in the border areas of Shostka and Konotop districts.
These troops have advanced weapons and military equipment that meet NATO standards. The soldiers themselves have undergone military training abroad. They will be strengthening their service at the frontline of defence in the Sumy region.
Earlier, convoys of Ukrainian special-purpose vehicles were spotted in the area of Putivl.
Local residents confirm the presence of Ukrainian Armed Forces units in the area.
It is known that before that, units of two special forces brigades of the Main Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation (GRU) were deployed to the border areas of Kursk region to conduct counter-sabotage activities and provocations.
At present, the activity of kafir units has been recorded on the border territory of the Russian Federation in the village of Tetkino, Kursk region.
