Drone coalition for Ukraine has officially started

The Drone Coalition has officially launched within the framework of the Contact Group on Ukraine's defense. In addition to the co-leaders of the United Kingdom and Latvia, it has been joined by Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Lithuania, Estonia, and the Netherlands.

Joining the coalition remains open to other countries. This was reported in the Telegram of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

It is noted that the head of the ministry, Rustem Umerov, has already signed a letter of intent and expressed gratitude to the partner countries. He called the drone coalition a milestone on the way to achieving technological superiority over the enemy.

"Serial production and delivery of UAVs significantly expand the capabilities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine," Umerov said.

Earlier, Dutch Defense Minister Keesa Ollongren announced that her country was joining a military coalition that would supply Ukraine with advanced drone technology. This should strengthen Ukraine's offensive potential in the war against the aggressor country.

The Dutch promise came in addition to the F-16 fighters, artillery, ammunition, and air defense systems that had already been provided to Kyiv.

As reported by OBOZ.UA:

– On February 14, the 19th meeting of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine took place. Umerov announced the official launch of the Integrated Air and Missile Defense Coalition.

– NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced that a group of NATO countries will provide the Ukrainian Armed Forces with one million UAVs. The transfer will be made as part of military assistance.
