Dozens of occupants surrendered, hundreds were killed: Tarnavsky spoke about Russian losses in the Tavriisk direction
The Russian occupation army continues to suffer huge losses in southern Ukraine. At the same time, dozens of invaders surrender to the Ukrainian military every day.
Also, on December 27, the defenders of Ukraine destroyed and damaged a significant number of enemy armored vehicles. This was reported in Telegram by the commander of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops, Brigadier General Oleksandr Tarnavsky.
According to him, about 20 occupants surrendered in the operational area of responsibility of the Tavria operational and strategic group of troops. He also emphasized that Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive and assault operations at the Avdiivka, Marinka and Zaporizhzhia directions.
Supported by a large number of armored vehicles, the Russian occupation forces continue active infantry attacks. In total, the enemy carried out 18 air strikes in the Tavriisk sector, fought 38 combat engagements and made 985 artillery attacks.
As a result of the fighting in the Tavriisk sector over the last day alone, the enemy's losses in the Tavriisk sector amounted to 488 people and 105 pieces of military equipment. Ukrainian troops burned 18 tanks, 28 armored personnel carriers, 13 artillery systems, 23 UAVs, 16 vehicles and 7 units of special equipment. An ammunition depot was also destroyed.
As a reminder, the military leadership of the terrorist country of Russia is trying to compensate for the loss of junior officers in the war in Ukraine by accelerating the training of new occupiers. In particular, the Russian Federation is trying to scale up training and reduce the training time for the invaders.
Earlier it was reported that the invaders in the occupied Mariupol are intensifying mobilization activities, and migrants are being taken to the occupiers' army. The seized city is under the increased control of the St. Petersburg riot police, Rosgvardia and Kadyrov's men are also present there.
As reported by OBOZ.UA, only the SBU soldiers defending Ukraine at the front have destroyed more than 500 Russian tanks this year. Among them were the T-90 Volodymyr and T-90M Breakthrough tanks "praised" by the occupiers, worth almost $5 million.
