DIU discloses new data on losses of DPRK soldiers in Kursk region
North Korean troops continue to suffer huge losses in the Kursk region. Despite this, the terrorist country Russia continues to use militants from the DPRK for "meat assaults."
On the front lines, North Korean units lack even drinking water. This was reported by the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine.
Ukrainian intelligence officers noted that on December 20, the DPRK army attack aircraft suffered sanitary losses of at least 5 servicemen in one of the areas. The defeat of a mortar unit of the DPRK Army was also confirmed.
In addition, as a result of a fire attack by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine on the enemy's concentration near the village of Novoivanovka, Kursk region, North Korean troops suffered significant losses in killed and wounded. However, Russian officers ordered them to continue to hold their positions.
The DIU also added that on December 21, the Russians continued to supply the DPRK army units with ammunition and food to replace losses in positions and continue assault operations. The very next day, as a result of a successful strike by the Security and Defense Forces of Ukraine, probably on one of the key communication hubs of the North Korean army, a sharp decrease in radio communication between the DPRK military was recorded.
The intelligence also reported that on December 24, North Korean units conducted combat operations, in particular in the area of Darino-Novoivanovka, Kursk region. The DPRK militants fired from mortars/AGS with adjustments using UAVs. The enemy's calculations are changing positions and are located at a distance of about 1 kilometer from the line of contact. Also, the DPRK troops deployed at least 5 additional observation posts with the codenames "Border 1-5" for more effective reconnaissance.

As a reminder, according to preliminary data, more than 3,000 North Korean soldiers have been killed or wounded at the front in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation. There is a risk of additional units and military equipment being deployed from the DPRK, which will be met with a tangible response from Ukraine.
