The head of the Kryvyi Rih Defense Council, Oleksandr Vilkul, said that the occupants used ballistic weapons to fire. An emergency rescue operation is underway. All services are working at the scene – rescuers, medics, and utility workers.

Later, Lysak clarified that apartments from the first to the fifth floors of one of the entrances in the Kryvyi Rih high-rise buildings were destroyed. There may be people under the rubble.
As of 11:15 a.m., it is known that two children were injured in Kryvyi Rih. A 10-year-old girl was treated on the spot. An 11-year-old boy was hospitalized in moderate condition.
In total, there are six victims.

"We are helping with construction materials, utility crews, resettlement, and applications for financial aid from the city. We are all working," Vilkul clarified.

The SES reported that they had rescued five people. Psychologists of the State Emergency Service provided assistance to 12 people.
At the same time, the attack damaged the windows of 35 apartment buildings and 11 cars.
There may still be people under the rubble. Rescue operations at the site of the attack are ongoing.
Vilkul said that the fire had already been extinguished, and the rescue operation continued. The rubble is being cleared.
As of 14:50, 12 people have been reported injured, including two children. A boy aged 11 is in the hospital, and a girl aged 10 is being treated on an outpatient basis. 4 people are in the hospital, their condition is moderate.
"Unfortunately, we can already see visually that there will be casualties. We will provide information after the rubble is cleared. More than 40 apartment buildings were damaged. People are being helped. The headquarters will work until 20:00 today. Tomorrow – from 08:00 to 20:00," Vilkul added.
He also said that the residents of the destroyed entrances need to write an application for urgent financial assistance from the city for 40 thousand hryvnias. Assistance with resettlement is provided. An instrumental examination of the house will be carried out. If the experts decide that it cannot be restored (which is likely to be the case), the city will pay money to purchase new apartments under the program.
