"Demilitarized" desks and walls: occupants hit gymnasium in Kherson. Video
The Russian terrorist army attacked Kherson once again. One of the gymnasiums in the regional center came under enemy fire.
As a result of the shelling, the school sustained significant damage. The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin reported this on Telegram (scroll to the bottom of the page to watch the video).
The shelling damaged the windows, walls and ceiling of the gymnasium. Some classrooms were completely destroyed. Fortunately, there were no casualties as a result of the shelling.
"The occupants shelled Kherson again. They hit the building of an educational institution. The premises of the high school and primary school were damaged. The Russian army "demilitarized" windows, walls, ceilings and entire classrooms. Fortunately, there were no casualties," the head of the RMA said.
In turn, the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kherson region reported that the enemy made 96 attacks during the day, firing 432 shells from various types of weapons. The enemy shelling caused 13 fires in the Kherson and Beryslav districts. Residential buildings, machinery at an agricultural enterprise, outbuildings and garages were burning.
Rescuers eliminated all the consequences of the enemy shelling. A total of 67 firefighters and 17 pieces of equipment were involved.
As a reminder, on the night of September 29-30, the aggressor country Russia launched another massive attack on Ukraine, using kamikaze drones. Air raid alert was declared in several regions, and air defense worked to target enemy drones.
On the night of September 30, about 40 Shahed-131/136 attack UAVs were launched. Air defense destroyed 30 attack drones in the area of responsibility of the Southern Defense Forces. Air defense forces shot down 20 targets in the Vinnytsia region, 6 in the Odesa region and 4 more in the Mykolaiv region.
