Control center and air defense systems hit: General Staff names the hottest areas at the front line

Over the past day (September 5), 181 combat engagements took place in Ukraine. The aviation and missile forces of the Ukrainian Defense Forces hit a control center and four enemy air defense systems, as well as struck enemy's concentration areas 15 times.

The situation was the most intense in the Pokrovsk and Kurakhove sectors. This was reported by the General Staff of the Armed Forces in a summary on September 6 (as of 8:00 a.m.), on the 926th day of the full-scale invasion.

The agency specified that on Thursday, the Russians fired one missile and launched 86 air strikes (in addition to 121 guided bombs) at the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements. The enemy fired more than 4,500 times, including with the use of multiple launch rocket systems (125 times).

Russian invaders carried out air strikes in the areas of the following settlements:

- Sumy, Hrytsenkove, Semeikyne, Partyzanske, Yampil, Yunakivka, Richky, Kyianytsia, Nova Sich, Krasnopillia, Bilytsia, and Dernove in Sumy region;

- Kharkiv, Tsyrkuny, Kolisnykivka, Shyikivka, and Iziumske in Kharkiv region;

- Kostiantynivka, Ivanopillia, Shcherbynivka, Druzhba, Toretsk, Oleksandropil, Selydove, Romanivka, Vyshneve, Tsukuryne, Velyka Novosilka, Yelyzavetivka, Vuhledar, and Vodiane in Donetsk region;

- Bilohiria in Zaporizhzhia region;

- Odradokamianka in Kherson region.

In the Kharkiv sector, there were seven fights near Starytsia and Vovchansk.

In the Kupiansk sector, there were 15 combat engagements. Defense forces repelled enemy assaults near Synkivka, Hlushkivka, Lozova, and Andriivka.

In the Lyman sector, there were 17 clashes with the enemy. The occupants attacked near Druzheliubivka, Makiivka, Nevske, Cherneshchyna, and Novosadove.

In the Siversk sector, there were 10 battles. Our troops stopped all enemy attempts to break through the defense in the areas of Verkhniokamianske, Vyimka and Spirne.

In the Kramatorsk sector, the Defense Forces repelled Russian offensive attempts 14 times. Fighting took place near Chasiv Yar, Predtechyne, Ivanivske, Bila Hora, Ivanopillia and Klishchiyivka.

In the Toretsk sector, there were 16 battles, in particular in the areas of Toretsk, Leonidivka, and Nelipivka.

In the Pokrovsk sector, Ukrainian defenders repelled 51 enemy assault attacks in the areas of Sukha Balka, Panteleimonivka, Zelene Pole, Vozdvyzhenka, Novotroyitske, Hrodivka, Myroliubivka, Novohrodivka, Mykhailivka and Selydove. The highest concentration of attacks was near Novohrodivka.

In the Kurakhove sector, Ukrainian Armed Forces stopped 36 enemy attacks near Lysivka, Ukrayinka, Halytsynivka, Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Kostiantynivka.

In the Vremivsk sector, the invaders carried out 11 offensives near Vodiane, Kostiantynivka, and Vuhledar.

In the Orikhiv sector, Ukrainian troops repelled an attack near the village of Robotyne.

In the Prydniprovske sector, the occupants also suffered defeats, attacking the defensive lines of our units three times.

The situation in the Huliaipole sector remained unchanged.

In the Volyn and Polissia directions, no signs of enemy offensive groups were detected.

On the border with Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the enemy maintains a military presence, conducting mortar and artillery shelling of our settlements from the territory of the Russian Federation.

As reported, the official statistics of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine show that on September 5, our Heroes eliminated 1170 Russian occupants. In total, the enemy has lost almost 630 thousand of its soldiers (since the start of the full-scale war against Ukraine).
