Buryats enter occupied Tokmak, loot and intimidate - General Staff

Buryats brought to Tokmak

The occupation forces of the aggressor country Russia have brought a unit from the Republic of Buryatia to the temporarily occupied city of Tokmak in Zaporizhzhia region. Their main "task" in the Ukrainian city is to terrorise local residents and loot.

This was reported in a summary on the official Facebook page of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Monday, 21 August. According to the Ukrainian military, the Buryats in Tokmak are checking local residents for documents for the right to live in their own homes.

If the documents are missing, Russian criminals take away all property and housing from Ukrainians under the guise of "confiscation".

Moreover, they physically abuse people who are dissatisfied with this behaviour of the occupiers.

Earlier, a Russian serviceman who was captured by the Ukrainian Defence Forces admitted that representatives of the Russian army violated the law in the Ukrainian city of Kherson when the city was occupied. The invaders committed war crimes, raped women, and looted.

This was told by an occupier who was born in Ukraine and went to fight against his own country. Oleksandr Subbotin is a native of Chystyakove (Torez), Donetsk Oblast, occupied since 2014.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, another captured occupier told how Akhmat militants (the army of Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov) raped Ukrainian girls. They committed these atrocious crimes in Tokmak and Molochansk, Zaporizhzhia region.
