"Brought 5 dry rations from somewhere": soldiers of the 77th Air Assault Brigade tell how Zhuzha the dog saved them from starvation at the front line. Video

The soldiers were supposed to stand at the position for three days, but stayed for nine

Even animals are helping Ukrainians to win the victory over Russian aggression in a full-scale war. They save soldiers from starvation, risking their lives.

The story of the soldiers of the 77th Separate Airmobile Brigade, who managed to survive thanks to a dog named Zhuzha, is proof of this. The animal was with them on the frontline and became a food supplier in the most difficult times (to watch the video, scroll to the bottom of the page).

"An incredible story about Zhuzha, a dog who saved the soldiers of the 77th Airborne Brigade at the front line," the video description reads.

"We had five people plus Zhuzha. We had five rations. We went in for three days. We were supposed to stay at the position. However, it happened that they could not give us provisions because of the heavy shelling. And we ate one ration for five people a day, plus Zhuzha. She was very hungry... We had to share. We didn't think it would last from three days to nine," said one of the soldiers.

The soldiers do not hide the fact that when the food started to run out and they shared one biscuit for three people, Zhuzha got crumbs.

"We lived on our rations for 3-4 days. Then Zhuzha began to slowly take her own rations out from under the rubble and from the ground. She couldn't tear the rations, so she took them out and put them under our feet for us to tear. She brought 4-5 pieces in 4-5 days," the soldiers said.

In the end, Zhuzha did not leave her breadwinners and covered 8 km. One of the soldiers even rescued the dog from the shelling.

As OBOZREVATEL previously reported, the State Border Guard Service published a video with the four-legged reinforcement. The puppies were born right on the frontline.

Earlier, the border guards filmed a cute video from their positions near the town of Vuhledar in Donetsk region. In particular, they showed the Ukrainians a field hamster.
