An American-made Bradley infantry fighting vehicle operated by Ukrainian defenders defeated a Russian T-80 tank in a "duel". A well-aimed shot turned the enemy vehicle into scrap metal.

The corresponding video was posted on Telegram on Wednesday, May 8, by the press service of the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade "Magura" of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The BMP was driven by the crew of the Discovery of the 2nd Mechanized Battalion of the 47th Mechanized Brigade.

The battle was recorded by a drone of our defenders. The Bradley was standing in front of the T-80 in an open area. The location of the shooting is not specified.

One accurate shot and the tank of the Russian occupation army exploded. Further reconnaissance showed that the T-80 was severely damaged.

Moment of the hit

The military added that they hit the T-80 with a TOW anti-tank missile. This is an American weapon, one of the most common ATGMs in the world.

"Let's keep working!" the 47th Separate Mechanized Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine wrote.
