In March 2024, the Ukrainian Defense Forces managed to strike five warships of the Russian aggressor country. One of them sank, and four were damaged.

The infographic was published by the press service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Twitter(X) on the last day of the month. "March turned out to be a bad month for the Russian Black Sea Fleet," the ministry joked.

On the 5th, Magura V5 surface drones attacked the enemy patrol ship Sergey Kotov. The ship's stern, port, and starboard sides were damaged.

On the 24th, the Ukrainian Air Force successfully attacked the large landing ships Yamal, Azov, Konstantin Olshansky, and the reconnaissance ship Ivan Khurs in the temporarily occupied Sevastopol (Crimea).

"The Russian Black Sea Fleet continues to suffer. Excellent work of Ukrainian soldiers," the Defense Ministry emphasized.

As OBOZ.UA previously reported:

– British intelligence believes that the command of the Russian Black Sea Fleet has found a way to protect its facilities from attacks by Ukrainian naval drones. The invaders are trying to increase the chances of Russian ships to "survive" by blocking the passages to ports with barges.

– Earlier, UK intelligence noted that Russia has decided to create a new "Dnipro river flotilla" to hinder the operations of the Ukrainian Defense Forces on the left bank of the Kherson region. However, the Russian ships will be vulnerable to naval drones, the ministry noted.
