Artillery hit the porch of the house: enemy shelling in Sumy region killed 16-year-old boy
Russian Federation troops fired at the village of Pozhnia, Sumy region, which is located near the Ukrainian-Russian border. The war criminals killed a teenager, who was only 16 years old.
The Russian Armed Forces opened fire on the village around 13:00 on Thursday, October 26. This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko on his Telegram channel.
He confirmed the death of a civilian. The 16-year-old boy was hit by enemy artillery right on the porch of his own house.
According to the minister, there are private houses of locals that were destroyed by the shelling.
"This is another attack on civilians. And Russia will definitely be held accountable for this," the Interior Minister assured.
The Prosecutor General's Office added that a 16-year-old boy was killed in the yard of his relatives' house. A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been initiated.
