Germany has provided a variety of drones

Germany continues to provide significant military assistance to Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression. The latest package of support handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine includes a wide range of weapons and equipment aimed at strengthening the country's defense capabilities.

The list includes armored vehicles, drones, ammunition and other modern equipment. This was reported on the federal government's website.

According to the updated list of assistance provided, the German Government has transferred 47 additional armored mine-resistant armored vehicles (MRAPs) to Ukraine. This brings the total to 73.

Ammunition for Marder armored personnel carriers, one TRML-4D radar (the 14th such system), and four Panzerhaubitzen 2000 self-propelled howitzers were also transferred, supplementing the 20 units of this equipment previously transferred.

The aid package also includes more than 40,000 rounds of 155 mm artillery ammunition. This ammunition will be used on the new Panzerhaubitze 2000 self-propelled artillery systems, which are also included in the transferred equipment. We are talking about four units of such systems.

In addition, Germany has provided a variety of drones, including 20 VECTOR reconnaissance UAVs, 12 HORNET XR reconnaissance UAVs, 100 RQ-35 HEIDRUN reconnaissance drones and 120 SONGBIRD drones. 60 Golden Eagle UAVs and two VT-4 Ray reconnaissance drones were also transferred to perform tasks.

Also included in the support package for Ukraine are two new BIBER bridge paving machines and three WISENT 1 demining tanks to help Ukrainian forces clear the territory of mines and other explosive devices. In addition, six M1070 Oshkosh heavy-duty semi-trailers and 8 Caracal tactical airborne vehicles were provided to ensure mobility on the battlefield.

Germany has also provided Ukraine with a significant amount of ammunition, including 8,000 rounds of 40 mm ammunition, 100,000 HLR 338 precision rifles with accompanying ammunition, and another 100,000 rounds of small arms ammunition. In total, Ukraine has received almost 56 million rounds of ammunition of various calibers.

On November 18, Bild reported that Germany would soon begin to supply Ukraine with the latest Helsing kamikaze drones equipped with artificial intelligence. The publication called these drones "mini-Taurus" because of their functionality and range.
