On the night of August 11, air defense forces shot down all Shahed kamikaze drones launched by Russian occupiers at Kyiv. There were no hits or damage in the capital.

At the same time, the suburbs suffered from Russian ballistic missiles, causing casualties. This was reported by the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Serhiy Popko.

According to him, this is the second time since the beginning of August that the enemy has launched air targets at Kyiv. This night began with the launch of ballistic missiles in the direction of the capital.

Like the previous time, six days ago, the missiles (Iskander-M or North Korean KN-23) did not reach Kyiv, but the suburbs were hit.

He added that at that time, several dozen drone were already known to have been launched at Ukraine. About a dozen of them, after complex maneuvers, tried to attack Kyiv.

All enemy attack drones were shot down in the airspace of the capital by air defense forces and means. According to the operational report, as of the morning, there were no destructions in Kyiv, and there is no information on casualties.

"I will never get tired of repeating it every time - do not ignore air raid alerts. Each of the alarms is announced based on real dangers! Thus, always go to the shelter! Take care of yourself!" head of Kyiv City Military Administration urged.

As reported, during an enemy attack on the night of August 11, a 35-year-old man and his 4-year-old son were killed by missile fragments under the rubble of houses in the Brovary district of Kyiv region. Three other people were severely injured.
